Brian Skillicorn is the director and is a damp and timber treatment contractor with almost 3 decades of experience in carrying out damp and timber surveying services and specialist damp proofing, dry rot and woodworm treatment in both domestic and commercial property repair. After leading in the damp proofing and timber treatment trade on the Isle of Man for over 25 years, carrying out remedial building repairs along with damp and timber building surveying inspections, we relocated to Edinburgh and swiftly established ourselves as a leading name within the industry. We have been serving the Edinburgh Old and New Town, The Lothians, Stirling, Fife, Glasgow, and Scottish Borders for almost a decade.

We are proactive in ensuring our building repairs are as environmentally friendly as possible and aim to supply products that offer functional and environmental benefits.

We locally source all of our timber from merchants based right here in Scotland, where the wood used in your property originates from a sustainably managed forest. Green architecture seeks to reduce the waste of plastic, and wherever possible we use recycled plastic lumber which will never rot or require any maintenance.

Any and all waste material is collected by a licensed company, equipped with state-of-the-art recycling facilities. We provide traceability for all removed waste materials from your job, all the way to the recycling plant ensuring the local environment is protected from waste through a managed and licensed recycling company.
